Mother Teresa of Stray Dogs
I’m a fifth-term veterinary student at St. George’s University in Grenada, following my passion to become a veterinarian. When I’m not in class or studying, I dedicate my time to the health and rescue of stray and abandoned dogs on the island. As a board member of the Grenada GSPCA, I work closely with their veterinary team to provide vital care and rehabilitation to neglected dogs in need.
This website is a reflection of my journey and the ongoing work I do to rescue dogs and help them find their forever homes. Through these pages, you’ll learn about some incredible dogs that have already been adopted, others currently receiving treatment, and those still waiting for the care and love they deserve.

About Me
Meet the Vet
I’m Kaleigh, aka "Dr. Who's Handsome," a veterinary student with a deep passion for animal care and global veterinary medicine. I’ve earned the nickname "Who’s Handsome" because every dog I meet is just so handsome, and I can’t resist greeting them with a cheerful "Whooo’s handsome?" It’s my way of spreading a little joy and showing love to every dog I encounter!
I share my life with two wonderful dogs: Charlie, a rescue from South Carolina, and Birdie, whom I adopted during my veterinary studies.
Traveling and learning about veterinary practices in different parts of the world is something I truly love. I’ve traveled to Guatemala and Costa Rica, where I provided free veterinary care, including vaccines and contraception, to cats and dogs in underserved areas. I’ve also had the privilege of working with elephants in Thailand who suffered years of abuse from tourism and log pulling, helping them recover in a sanctuary.
Most recently, I returned from South Africa, where I worked with a variety of wildlife species, including cheetahs, lions, zebras, and white rhinos. I assisted in several procedures such as castrations, vaccinations, implanting tracking devices, and supporting translocations to help protect these incredible animals.
Through these experiences, I continue to grow both professionally and personally, committed to making a lasting impact on animal health around the world.
